Heartfelt and spirited hosts

A family business that never stands still and thrives thanks to employees who are fully dedicated and passionate about what they do.

The history of Bergeralm dates back over a hundred years. A simple alpine hut marked the beginning in 1917, setting the stage for a century of hospitality. Today, Family Berger, now in the fourth and fifth generation, are the hosts at Mountain Resort Feuerberg. Together with Director Andy Feichter and a wonderful team of 180 dedicated employees, they carefully continue to develop this special place.

Emanuel Berger

I have witnessed every stage of development at Feuerberg and had the opportunity to help develop it from a young age. After an international career, my path led me back to my roots, where I now have the privilege of working with full motivation and dedication.

In 2022, I took over the management together with my father, and since 2024, I have been the owner of this unique place. With humility and gratitude, I now lead the Mountain Resort that my family built.

What do I bring to the table? Innovation, a clear vision for the future, and the relentless drive to make this place even more beautiful and enriching. At the same time, I am committed to preserving everything that makes Feuerberg so unique: its soul, its warmth, its magic.

Erwin Berger

The mountain comes alive! We approach this wonderful place where we live and work with great respect and humility. Vacation here in the high alpine regions of Gerlitzen Alpe is more than just a bit of fun, good food, and tranquility (although that is also a part of it).

It enables an encounter with the elemental forces of nature as well as with oneself. At Feuerberg, we swing back and forth between enjoyable relaxation, invigorating activity and inspiring offers, oscillating between heaven and earth, as it were, and nourishing ourselves in the incomparable vastness of this place. At the beginning of the Feuerberg, we wanted to show ourselves and share what is important to us personally with our guests. The Feuerberg can therefore also be seen as a journey, a journey to ourselves - together with you, our guests, as well as with our many employees who support us every day.

Isabella Berger

"I feel good when everyone is doing well!" This could be the life motto of Isabella Berger. And that sentiment is felt throughout the resort. With a keen sense, a lot of empathy, and excellent professional training, she approaches her work as an entrepreneur and head of the wellness department.

She embraces employees, guests, and even the entire mountain in her heart.
How big does it have to be, we sometimes ask ourselves. And we often feel that their work works wonders. When guests praise the good, subtle energy of the Feuerberg, it is due to her work. The many details in the house make it clear that someone is at work here who also knows about the subtle nuances of life. The Feuerberg also stands for this, perhaps even especially for this.

Andreas Feichter

The Feuerberg, as well as myself, embody warm hospitality and attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere. One could also say that there is a sense of "family spirit" here, but certainly not rigid luxury.

And not everything may always be perfect. But what is always there is passion, dedication and the effort to give the best. This results in the generosity that many guests at the Feuerberg particularly appreciate and a certain "uncomplicatedness" that makes this wonderful coexistence of families with children and couples seeking peace and quiet possible in the first place. Of course, the latter also need the spaciousness of the rooms if several generations are to get along well together under one roof, according to old custom. But that's what the Feuerberg is known for. It is also known for its excellent cuisine, which in recent years has been based almost exclusively on regional farmers and gourmet producers. This gives you a good feeling of knowing what you're getting on your plate. One last thing: although we are located in the middle of the hiking and skiing area, the Feuerberg does not offer an à la carte service for external guests. The house belongs to our resort guests alone.

For me, Feuerberg means coming home to a magical place of power filled with incredibly inspiring personalities. Nowhere have I ever been welcomed and embraced as warmly by staff, owners, and guests as I have here.

This treasure must be preserved as our highest priority, so that we can convey to every individual that feeling of “coming home, letting go, and relaxing.”

“Magic moments with a special team on fire.”

Kevin Granegger

For over 15 years, I have been part of Feuerberg – a journey that has shaped me and allowed me to grow. Recently, I have had the opportunity to take on the role of Deputy Hotel Manager, with particular responsibility for the areas of kitchen, purchasing, and service. Throughout these years, I have learned one thing very clearly:

true quality is always created together. My team is at the heart of everything I do. Because only with trust, motivation, and genuine enthusiasm can we give our very best day after day.

At the same time, it is my ambition to create special moments for our guests – through culinary excellence, attentive service, and the many details that often work quietly, yet make all the difference. Together, we strive to ensure that a stay at Feuerberg is not only of the highest quality, but truly memorable in a lasting and meaningful way.

My Motto:
“It’s amazing what you can accomplish if you don’t care who gets the credit.”
