Declaration on accessibility

We endeavour to make our website accessible in accordance with the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG) as amended to implement the European Accessibility Directive (RL 2019/882) on the accessibility requirements for products and services.

This accessibility statement applies to www.feuerberg.at.

The guideline for accessible web content - WCAG 2.2 AA has been complied with as far as possible. We are continuously working to identify and remove existing barriers.

Our website is currently only partially accessible. Some content and functions do not yet fully fulfill the requirements of WCAG 2.2 AA.

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

Disproportionate burden

The rectification of the following defects represents a disproportionate burden at the present time. In addition, a relaunch of the entire website is planned in the near future, taking into account the WCAG guidelines.

• Folding areas without ARIA attributes cannot be navigated using the keyboard (violation of WCAG criterion 2.1.1)
• The currently used lightbox version is not accessible (violation of WCAG criterion 2.4.3)
• Blog slider cannot be navigated using the keyboard (violation of WCAG criterion 2.1.1)
• Remaining places: Nights selection is not possible via keyboard (violation of WCAG criterion 2.1.1)
• Keyboard focus is in some cases insufficient or missing for individual elements (violation of WCAG criterion 2.4.7)
• Insufficient target size for icons/links (violation of WCAG criterion 2.5.5)
• Errors in the source code (violation of WCAG criterion 4.1.1)
• Badge positioning on zoom impairs readability (violation of WCAG criterion 1.4.4)
• Automatically started videos cannot be stopped (violation of WCAG criterion 2.2.2)
• Search function in the header & form elements in the application form without a label (violation of WCAG criterion 3.3.2)
• Insufficient contrast (font, icons, text on image, etc.) (violation of WCAG criterion 1.4.3 or 1.4.11)
• Active menu items not sufficiently labelled (violation of WCAG criteria 1.4.1 and 1.4.3)

Incompatibility with accessibility regulations

• Slider controls are partially labelled in English (violation of WCAG criterion 1.1.1)

The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation

• We cannot guarantee accessibility for third-party content (Vioma, Additive,) that is beyond our control.

The assessment of the compatibility of the website with the BaFG was carried out in the form of a test in accordance with WCAG 2.2 AA. The home page, room and package pages, customised forms and the available content elements such as teasers, image blocks and sliders were checked.
