On an alpine plateau of the **Gerlitzen Alpe at 1,769 meters above sea level**, the **Mountain Resort Feuerberg** is located in **Carinthia, southern Austria**, close to the borders of Italy and Slovenia. ### Taxi-/Transfer-Information
We are happy to organize taxi transportation for you.
Please order your taxi before your arrival by calling +43 4248 2880 or by emailing [kontakt@feuerberg.at](#). For airport pick-up, we will need your arrival time and flight number.
All vehicles from our taxi partner "Taxi Shuttle Villach" are perfectly equipped for the ride on the Gerlitzen Alpenstraße. Each taxi-bus can accommodate up to 7 people.
We kindly request advance notice for any needed child seats, ski equipment, oversized or special luggage.
All "extras," including roof boxes and trailers for additional luggage, are included in the price.
### Arrival by Plane
Fly to us and land relaxed at Klagenfurt Airport. Book your affordable flights in time for your holiday in Carinthia.
The flight Vienna - Klagenfurt is operated by [Austrian Airlines](https://www.austrian.com/at/de/homepage).
There are Europe-wide connecting flights via Vienna with Austrian Airlines.

Kärnten Transfer takes you directly from **Klagenfurt Airport (KLU), Salzburg Airport (SZG), and Ljubljana Airport (LJU)** to the Mountain Resort Feuerberg. Reserve your preferred date easily online through the [Kärnten Transfer portal](https://www.kaernten-transfer.at/) until 6:00 PM of the day before your arrival.
We are also happy to organize a taxi transfer from Klagenfurt Airport to the Feuerberg for you: Individual taxi from Klagenfurt Airport € 121.00. The taxi will conveniently take you directly to the Feuerberg. Please inform us of your arrival time and flight number at least 7 days before your arrival.

### Arrival by car
**From Salzburg, Germany**
Take the Tauern Motorway (A10) until the exit "Villach Ossiacher See," then continue on Federal Road 94 for about 8 km towards Annenheim, Sattendorf, and Bodensdorf (north shore of Lake Ossiach). In Bodensdorf, turn left at the Turmöl gas station into Gerlitzen Alpenstraße and follow it to the end (approximately 13 km).
**From Vienna, Graz**
Take the Southern Motorway (A2) until the exit "Klagenfurt Nord," then continue on Federal Road 95 towards Feldkirchen and then continue on B94 towards Villach until you reach Bodensdorf on Lake Ossiach. In Bodensdorf, turn right at the Turmöl gas station into Gerlitzen Alpenstraße and follow it to the end (approximately 13 km).
**From Italy**
Take the Udine - Tarvisio - Southern Motorway (A2) or at the Villach junction, switch to the Tauern Motorway (A10) until the exit "Villach Ossiacher See," then continue on Federal Road 94 for about 8 km towards Annenheim, Sattendorf, and Bodensdorf (north shore of Lake Ossiach). In Bodensdorf, turn left at the Turmöl gas station into Gerlitzen Alpenstraße and follow it to the end (approximately 13 km).
**From Slovenia**
Take the A11 (Karawanken Motorway) until the interchange Knoten Villach, then switch to A10 until the exit "Villach - Ossiacher See," then continue on Federal Road 94 for about 8 km towards Annenheim, Sattendorf, and Bodensdorf (north shore of Lake Ossiach). In Bodensdorf, turn left at the Turmöl gas station into Gerlitzen Alpenstraße and follow it to the end (approximately 13 km).
The Gerlitzen Alpenstraße is a toll road. When going up, you will get a ticket, and at the reception, you will receive your toll-free card for the entire stay.
### Arrival by train
**Arrival by train**
- The destination train station is Villach Hauptbahnhof (Villach Main Station) for passenger traffic and car-train service.
- There are direct connections from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Our tip: Travel even more affordably and conveniently with the Sparschiene ticket from ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) or the Super Sparpreis ticket from Deutsche Bahn (German Railways). Based on our experience, the earlier you book your ticket, the cheaper it will be. We recommend reserving seats when booking and consider purchasing travel insurance for cancellation coverage.
**ÖBB Transfer Carinthia – Train & Shuttle Service**
Use the [ÖBB transfer Carinthia](https://www.oebb.at/de/regionale-angebote/kaernten/bahnhof-shuttle) with station shuttle for the journey from the station to the Feuerberg. Bookings must be made by 8 pm the day before at the latest. The station shuttle includes for example the train stations Klagenfurt, Villach and Feldkirchen. Prices depend on distance and journey time. From Villach station to Feuerberg, prices start from € 40.00 for one way.
To book, you can select the appropriate train connection in the ÖBB ticket store. If the station shuttle service is available at the destination station for your travel date, it will be suggested as an additional offer.
