Year after year, great classical artists enrich our "Spirit am Berg" program with small, fine house concerts after dinner at 9pm. Rarely you have the opportunity to experience renowned artists in such a private, relaxed setting. Last year this very special pre-Christmas music festival took place at the Feuerberg for the twelfth time. Pianist and conductor Prof. [Manfred Schiebel](http://www.manfred-schiebel.at/) was a guest at the Feuerberg once again as mentor of our festival. As a well-known pianist, he has already worked with international stars such as Edita Gruberova, Grace Bumbry and Leo Nucci. **We look forward to Classic in Advent 2026.** Charity concerts ---------------- ***"Classic in Advent"** – these are very special evenings at the Feuerberg. Small, fine concerts to enjoy and for charity. Voluntary donations go to the "Kärntner in Not" (Carinthians in need) campaign.* Classic in Advent: Program 2026 ------------------------------- ### Thursday, 3 December 2026: Domra & Piano Furioso Internationally acclaimed domra virtuoso Natalia Anchutina, accompanied by Lothar Freud on piano, delights audiences with virtuosic arrangements of well-known classical works for the Russian string instrument, the domra. ### Wednesday, 9 December 2026: Chamber Music at Its Finest – Part 1 **Members of the Vienna Philharmonic, the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Volksoper come together to perform as a string quintet. The programme will be announced soon.** ### Friday, 11 December 2026: Chamber Music at Its Finest – Part 2 Performing this evening: **Walter Auer, flute** Principal Flutist of the Vienna Philharmonic **Martin Rummel, cello** Internationally acclaimed soloist and chamber musician, Rector of the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz **Lorenzo Cossi, piano** Senior Artist for Piano at the Gustav Mahler Private University for Music in Klagenfurt, with an international concert career The programme will be announced soon. ### Monday, 14 December 2026: Robert Schumann Song Recital Rising German tenor Jakob Gerbeth makes his Feuerberg debut with a selection of songs by Robert Schumann. ### Wednesday, 16 December 2026: Kontrabassissimo **Dominik Wagner, double bass | Manfred Schiebel, piano** Winner of the ECHO Klassik and OPUS Klassik awards, Vienna-born double bassist Dominik Wagner presents his instrument in exciting new ways on the international stage. His career as a soloist has taken him to some of the world’s most renowned concert halls. Since 1 October, he has held a professorship in double bass at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw). The programme will be announced soon. ### Friday, 18 December 2026: From the World of Opera and Operetta **Renowned baritone Thomas Tatzl presents well-known arias from opera and operetta, along with a selection of songs. He is accompanied on piano by Prof. Manfred Schiebel.** ### Monday, 21 December 2026: Duo Delirium – Piano Four Hands Duo Delirium was formed following a fortuitous encounter in Belgium between Belgian-Swiss pianist Marie-Astrid Wybou and German-Austrian pianist Bernhard Jan. The duo performs nationally and internationally in renowned concert halls, including the Vienna Musikverein.
